Matelassé is a woven cotton fabric with a raised, quilted texture created by the structure of the weave rather than stitching. Pendleton's coverlets are woven in Portugal from organic cotton certified to GOTS standard, carrying the same geometric patterns used across the blanket range. Lighter than a wool blanket, they work year-round as a single layer or as added weight over existing bedding. Available in twin, queen and king sizes with matching shams.
