At South West Trader we currently stock clothing from two labels: Pendleton Woolen Mills and Non-Type. Pendleton covers wool shirts, bomber jackets and outerwear in the company's signature jacquard patterns, with fabric woven at the Oregon and Washington mills. Manufacturing location varies by garment, individual product pages carry the country of origin. Non-Type is a Sydney menswear label founded by Gareth Moody, one of the co-founders of Ksubi, working in linen, wool and leather with pieces hand-finished and produced in small numbers each season. The two labels sit naturally alongside the jewellery and textile collections already in the store, and were chosen for the same reason everything else here was chosen: we know the makers and the work. The clothing range is not fixed. It will grow over time as we find pieces from Australian and international makers that belong alongside what is already here.
