Most closely associated with Navajo silversmiths, sandcasting was developed in the mid nineteenth century and involves hand-carving a design into sandstone or tufa stone to create a single-use mold for molten silver.
Sourced directly from Native American artists on the reservations of New Mexico and Arizona, handmade using traditional techniques passed down through generations.
