Handmade Sterling Silver Navajo Squash Blossom

c5067

The squash blossom is a Navajo silversmithing tradition dating to the late nineteenth century, drawing on the significance of the squash plant as one of the Three Sisters crops and carrying longstanding associations with fertility, abundance and protection.

Sourced directly from Native American artists on the reservations of New Mexico and Arizona, handmade using traditional techniques passed down through generations.

Blossom 2.5cm x 1.2 wide (4cm drop with hook).
